The formation of a subbase replacement layer for the development of the new facility.  50,000m2 of very fine sand has been successfully stabilised to exceed 30% CBR.  The sand is single-sized and has air voids of 20% - even after compacting!  Special procedures were undertaken to ensure the material remains stabilised.
